The company was formed in 2006 following our acknowledgement that there was a real need for quality provision for individuals who manage a learning disability requiring support to enable them to live independently.
Together with hard work and a genuine passion, we have not looked back!

Originally there were the 3 of us Yve, Hannah and Sophie carrying out all the support and now 18 years later we are where we are today leading the way with independent living.

Aiding Independence are leaders in the field of supporting people. Since its inception, Aiding Independence has evolved into a service which encompasses many different facets of support. We have found that flexibility is the key and we have adapted our service to suit the needs of people needing support. We particularly enjoy working in partnership with innovative Team Managers and Care Managers. We support people in their own homes and in our own properties and have recently been involved in numerous creative projects.
